Financial Engineering is a multidisciplinary field involving financial theory, the methods of engineering, the tools of mathematics and the practice of programming. Through partnership with the Stanford Universityˇ¦s Department of Management Science & Engineering and the Stanford Center for Professional Development, CEG is proud to introduce an innovative Financial Engineering Program to Hong Kong. The six-month program provides a part-time training in the application of engineering methodologies and quantitative methods to finance.
Our program is designed for people who wish to obtain positions in the securities, banking, and financial management and consulting industries, or as quantitative analysts in corporate treasury and finance departments of general manufacturing and service firms.
The program provides pathways for students to earn a masterˇ¦s degree from Stanford or other US universities upon successful admission.
We also intend to create a financial engineering community, with plans to host seminars on Financial Engineering, at which industry practitioners from top investment banks will present their recent research or particular specialty. Students can hear firsthand about life in the financial world.
